Sahih al-Bukhari 2601

It is related that Jabir ibn 'Abdullah reported that his father was killed as a martyr in the Battle of Uhud while he owed debts. "The creditors were insistent in demanding their rights. I went to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and spoke to him. He asked them to accept the fruits of my garden and absolve my father, but they refused, so the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not give them the fruits of my garden nor cut the fruits for them. He said, 'I will come to you tomorrow.' He came in the morning of the next day and walked around in the palms and prayed for the fruit to have blessing. Then I picked them and paid them their rights and we still had dates left over.' Then I went to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who was sitting down and informed him about that. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to 'Umar, who was sitting there, 'Listen, 'Umar!' He said, 'Is it not so? We know that you are the Messenger of Allah. By Allah, you are the Messenger of Allah!'"
