Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari:When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) fought the battle of Khaibar, or when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went towards it, (whenever) the people, (passed over a high place overlooking a valley, they raised their voices saying, "Allahu-Akbar! Allahu-Akbar! None has the right to be worshipped except Allah." On that Allah's Apostle said (to them), "Lower your voices, for you are not calling a deaf or an absent one, but you are calling a Hearer Who is near and is with you." I was behind the riding animal of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he heard me saying. "There Is neither might, nor power but with Allah," On that he said to me, "O `Abdullah bin Qais!" I said, "Labbaik. O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" He said, "Shall I tell you a sentence which is one of the treasures of Paradise" I said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Let my father and mother be sacrificed for your sake." He said, "It is: There is neither might nor power but with Allah."

It is related that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari said, "When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, attacked Khaybar (or he said, 'When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, made for Khaybar,") and the people were overlooking a valley, they would raise their voices with the takbir, 'Allah is greater! Allah is greater! There is no god but Allah!' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Be kind to yourselves! You are not calling someone who is deaf or absent. You are calling on One who is hearing, near. He is with you.' I was riding behing the animal of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he heard me saying, 'There is no power nor strength except by Allah,' and he said to me, 'O 'Abdullah ibn Qays!' I said, 'At your service, Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Shall I direct you to a word which is one of the treasures of the Garden?' I said, 'Yes, indeed, Messenger of Allah, may my mother and father be your ransom!' He said, 'There is no power nor strength except by Allah.'"
