Sahih al-Bukhari 6877

Hisham ibn Zayd ibn Anas related that his grandfather, Anas ibn Malik, said. "A girl went out in Madina wearing some silver jewellery. A Jew hit her with a stone. She was brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while she was still alive. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She raised her head [to indicate no] and he repeated to her, 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She raised her head and then on the third time, he said, 'Did so-and-so kill you?' She lowered her head [to indicate yes] and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, summoned him and killed him between two stones."
