Sahih al-Bukhari 7066

Abu Wa'il related that 'Abdullah, (and I think that it is marfu') said, "There will be days of bloodshed before the Final Hour in which knowledge will disappear and ignorance will appear." Abu Musa said that harj means "killing' in Abyssinian. Abu Wa'il related that al-Ash'ari asked 'Abdullah, "Do you know the days about which the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called the days of bloodshed?" Ibn Mas'ud said, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, "The Rising will catch the worst of people while they are alive."
